There are currently 89 registered, 90 if you include Priscilla who we know is in town for the occasion. The Darwin contingent have finally hit the rego list. We presume the cost of beer has kept Kupang and Bali hashers away.
And some late logistics news re. collecting goodie bags and maintaining public decency.
1) Your Goodies Bags will be available for collection Wednesday 11 November (tomorrow) from 10 am until 6 pm upstairs at Dili Beach Hotel & on Thursday from 9 am until 2 pm also upstairs at Dili Beach Hotel. Goodies bags won't be handed out at any of the functions. You must collect from Dili Beach Hotel.
2) Sadly the T -shirts are delayed. The ship bringing them here had a major engine breakdown in Singapore & the best scenario is they will be available on Friday. Unless there is some kind of massive miracle, sorry, no T-shirts for Thursday...
3) Santa Cruz Day is Thursday & is a public holiday & a very solemn occasion in Timor Leste commemorating the 1991 Santa Cruz massacre. The Hash event at CazBar will be well away from services in Dili but Hashers should be aware of the significance & respect the local people and customs prevailing on the day.
